The map was also kind of easy so that would be helpful ^^ Thank you. So I’ve been looking into this game a bit more recently. I’m a bit disappointed on how it was a bit of a letdown. The story might be interesting at the time, and the concept of being an ‘Elden Lord’ is interesting. But ultimately it turns out to be a story with a bunch of lore and information, and very little actual story in it. I expected the fun part to come from really engaging and challenging gameplay, which it mostly does, but it also has a ton of things that are boring or just plain frustrating. The character customization is alright, but there’s hardly anything to do with that aspect of it, and I’ll have to go through all that grind just to look cool. The biggest problem for me was that the battles were a bit of a letdown as well. The combat is fine, but it lacks the depth and challenge of the dungeons. Honestly, it’s like they made the dungeon with a different designer than the one that did the combat and the rest of the game. Plus, I really hate how the player can’t tell when they’re finished prepping a weapon or armor; if you have a bunch of stuff in your inventory, it’ll just go through the motions over and over when you press that button. You’ll have to go through all of it, even if you don’t think you’re gonna use it. The negative feedback from the other party members are also quite annoying, and the actual communication is pretty bad as well. I don’t know if it’s because English isn’t the native language, or if it’s just bad translation, but it gets very distracting. I think my favorite part was the leveling system, which was extremely easy, and combat itself felt really repetitive. I liked the dungeon design, but again, it felt like it was translated from different designer than the combat and level up systems. I’d be down for some reviews if anyone else wants to play it.
