As mentioned above, there are four pieces of software needed to create such a database:
A database management system (DBMS)
A geochemical interpretation and modeling tool
A petrophysical interpretation and modeling tool
A fluid interpretation and modeling tool
The DBMS is normally the main focus of the download. I would suggest that a DBMS be used. However, if you have the software listed above, then I would suggest that you run each individual software package and see what they offer. I would start with the geochemical and petrophysical tools. There are a few versions of both. If you have tried them and are not satisfied with them, then you may want to try another tool, such as the Fluid Interpretation and Modeling (FIM) tool. If you have not tried both, then I would suggest that you get started with the DBMS. This is because not all of the above software is available for free, and free versions can be somewhat restricted. For the DBMS, I would suggest that you look at Oracle, DB2, or PostgreSQL.
To tie everything together, I would use the DBMS to store the initial values. For example, you would set the initial temperature, salinity, and porosity. This would allow the rest of the computerized interpretation and modeling software to calculate. You would use the post-processing tools to store the calculated values.
